Welcoming Sentiments

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

Wedding Invitation

Finally, the invitation post is here! I finished them and got them in the mail a couple of weeks ago. It’s fun getting the responses back, we seem to get about 1 a day so far.  These invitations were mostly assembled in the hospital.  My future father in law had quite the scare so the week that I needed to get these out we spent a lot of time at the hospital.  Everyone got a kick out of the fact that I was carrying everything back and forth but sometimes you have to do what you have to do!  Plus it gave me something to do while we sat there and talked.  Luckily he’s doing much better now and was home after a week.
This first picture is a summary page that has all of the pictures. I created it in Storybook Creator.

I ordered the pink envelopes and green pocket folds from Cards & Pockets as well as the pink paper to mount the invitation.

The stamps are from Zazzle and I used pictures from Kosi Designs.  The stamp on the outer envelope said You’re Invited.

The paper for the envelope liner is from Paper Source.  The search for that paper took quite some time!  I was looking for paper, wrapping paper, anything pink and green and finally found something just right!

I picked up the yarn that I wrapped the envelope in to tie around the votive holders at the tables.  I will have to go get more because it turned out to be perfect for the invitations too!  I punched holes in the pink square and tied the yarn through the holes.  I ran the white logo and green square through the Xyron and stuck them on the pink square to cover up the knot in the yarn.

I created each section in Storybook Creator, I know big surprise!  A little detail that I’m proud to point out is that as all 4 pages in the pocket line up the design flows down them as it’s one solid image.

The accommodation and directions page.

The reception and RSVP page.

The RSVP envelope, another stamp from Zazzle with a picture from Kosi Designs.  This stamp said RSVP.

I love your invites. We are using cards and pockets too and was wondering how you got your inserts/invites printed? Did you do it through them? I love the eyelash yarn!!
    Thanks.

    Thank you for the compliments!

I designed them in Creative Memories Storybook Creator and then printed them on my home inkjet printer.
